Silent & live auctions at Bead&Button Show to benefit MCW breast cancer research

May 11 - The Bead&Button Show, the country’s largest consumer bead show, will take place June 4– 11 at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee. The show will feature a silent auction and a reception that provide opportunities to support breast cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Cancer Center.

May 11 - The Raise a Glass to Hope Gala, a fundraiser for the 2017 Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse, organized by WBCS, Inc., will be held Saturday, June 3, beginning at 6 p.m. at this year’s Showhouse, 2239 N. Terrace Avenue, Milwaukee.

The 11th annual Women in Science Series continues on May 23 with Alison Kriegel, PhD, assistant professor of physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, who will give a presentation titled, Interdependence of the Heart and Kidneys in Health and Disease. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
