Milwaukee Campus Update

Due to COVID-19, there are now designated student study areas so that proper cleaning can take place. All students, including School of Pharmacy, School of Graduate Studies, and Medical School should use these spaces. learn more (PDF)

Green Bay Campus

Space Types

Our Green Bay campus features both formal and informal study areas to meet the varying needs of our students. Types of spaces include:

  • Conference rooms
    • Space with table and chairs for individuals and/or groups. Many rooms include monitors, network connection, electrical cord and outlets, and whiteboard.
  • Classroom/lecture halls
    • Educational activity space for regularly occurring courses, seminars, etc. Available for group study when not otherwise in use or reserved.
  • Open study areas
    • Accessible spaces with limited partitions and a variety of seating options including couches, reading chairs, banquette seating and high-top tables.
  • Individual study carol/stacks
    • Areas in the Mulva Library intended for independent use.
  • Private study rooms
    • Single user areas used for quiet independent study by one student at a time. 
Locations

Study spaces on our Green Bay campus are located in:

  • Gehl-Mulva Science Center at St. Norbert College
    • MCW-Green Bay is comprised of 6,600 square feet of dedicated space in the Gehl-Mulva Science Center at St. Norbert College. The space features an active learning classroom that can be divided into two rooms and a large learning lab that can be split into three learning and skills rooms. In all these spaces, you will find state-of-the-art community technology designed for ease of use. There are two conference rooms in the lower-level of Gehl-Mulva Science Centers that MCW-Green Bay students have after-hours/weekend access to for studying as well as all their classroom spaces.
    • St. Norbert's Mulva Library has a variety of areas you can reserve through the St. Norbert's room reservation system
  • Bellin College
    • MCW-Green Bay students have swipe-card access to library, classroom, and study spaces at Bellin College. 
Access
Students have 24/7 access to the Gehl-Mulva Science Center and all the classrooms and open study areas within it. Students have access to the conference rooms from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. Monday – Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are not required and spaces are first come, first served.

MCW-Green Bay students have swipe-card access to library, classroom, and study spaces at Bellin College from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Central Wisconsin Campus

Our Central Wisconsin campus features both formal and informal study areas to meet the varying needs of our students. Types of spaces include:

  • Classroom/lecture halls
    • Educational activity space for regularly occurring courses, seminars, etc. Available for group study when not otherwise in use or reserved.
  • Open study areas
    • Accessible spaces with limited partitions and a variety of seating options including couches, reading chairs, banquette seating and high-top tables. 
Locations

Study spaces on our Central Wisconsin campus are located in:

  • Aspirus Wausau Hospital
    • MCW-Central Wisconsin, located within leased spaces at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the Aspirus Residency Clinic houses teaching, faculty, and administrative space in a new 10,000 square foot addition in the hospital. Study spaces within the campus suite and at the Aspirus spaces include:
      • Student Lounge (CW50)
      • Skills and Learning classrooms when not used for classes (CW33, CW37 and CW41)
      • Active Learning classrooms when not used for classes (CW61 and CW63)
      • Office Room (CW 43)
      • Aspirus Medical Library
      • Aspirus Physician Lounge
      • Aspirus Cafeteria
      • Aspirus Entrance B waiting rooms on levels 0 and 1, after hours - most surgeries are finished by 4:00 pm on weekdays
      • Rooms on the second floor of the Aspirus Residency clinic when not in use by other parties. This includes two conference rooms, lounge and tiered classroom.
  • Northcentral Technical College (NTC)
    • NTC houses rented space for anatomy lab, locker rooms and clinical simulations and skills training. Study spaces at NTC include:
      • NTC Center for Health Sciences lounge spaces on levels 1, 2 and 3
      • NTC Library
      • NTC Cafeteria
Access
Study space in our Central Wisconsin campus suite is available to students 24/7 in the MCW-Central Wisconsin facilities at Aspirus. Likewise, the Medical Library, Cafeteria and Physician Lounge at Wausau Aspirus Hospital are available to students around the clock. Other spaces at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the Aspirus Residency Clinic are available for use when not being used by their patient and staff.

Access hours at NTC are as follows:

Monday – Friday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
