The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) delivers expert care for a wide range of vascular conditions. We are committed to excellence in patient care, offering advanced clinical services, innovative research, and comprehensive educational programs. Our division provides meaningful learning experiences for medical students, general surgery residents, and vascular surgery fellows, helping to shape the next generation of vascular surgeons.

Through our partnerships with Froedtert Health, the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, and our work at MCW, we continue to expand our reach and impact across the region.

Welcome from the Division Chief

Peter J. Rossi, MD, FACS

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery provides comprehensive care for patients with diseases of the vascular system. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care to patients with all types of vascular conditions, from the simplest to the most complex, including aortic and visceral artery aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, venous disease, and every other conceivable vascular condition.

Our mission mirrors the MCW Department of Surgery mission: “Knowledge. Changing. Life.” We live this quality every day as demonstrated by our top-decile performance in national datasets including the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) and Vizient. Our open and endovascular surgical volume, along with our collaborative care with other departments – including interventional radiology, adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, cardiology, orthopedic surgery and complex general surgical oncology – allows us to provide fellows with a comprehensive vascular education that simply can’t be replicated at any other program.
