Biography
Eileen Shannon, PharmD, MS, BCCCP received her Doctor of Pharmacy from UW-Madison School of Pharmacy. She completed both her PGY-1 and PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at UW-Health in Madison. After residency, she worked as a critical care pharmacist at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2022, she moved back to Wisconsin and worked at Waukesha Memorial Hospital in the ICU and step-down cardiology unit. She now works as a float pharmacist at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI in the ICU, cardiology, general medicine, surgery, and transplant units. Eileen joined the MCW staff in 2022.

- Process improvement projects in the inpatient hospital setting
Critical care is a complex but fascinating specialty and pharmacists have so much to offer when it comes to the care of critically ill patients. I hope to bring enthusiasm for the topic along with engaging content to inspire the next generation of critical care pharmacists.
