Milwaukee, Jan. 11, 2024 – The Milwaukee Business Journal has named Drs. Max Krucoff and Julie Kolinski, both Medical College of Wisconsin faculty members, to this year’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list.

In his nomination, Dr. Krucoff was lauded for his work as a neurosurgeon-scientist and brain tumor specialist who is aiming to expand the boundaries of tumor removal neurosurgery and improve outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Kolinski was praised for, among many things, leading the development of systems of care in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic and discerning early on that the virus was disproportionately affecting structurally disadvantaged communities.

Each year, the Milwaukee Business Journal selects 40 young professionals, all under 40 years old, who have distinguished themselves in their companies, their communities, and their industries. More than 300 nominations were received for this year’s program. A profile of each honoree will be published in a special section on March 15, and all award winners will be recognized at an event on March 18.
