Presentation to focus on using research to stop the heroin epidemic in Wisconsin

April 22 - The Center for AIDS Intervention Research (CAIR) is hosting a panel discussion on Tuesday, May 6, on heroin use in Wisconsin and how research could play a role in stopping the epidemic. The event will run from 1-3:30 p.m. and include presentations from five experts as well as the panel discussion.


Rock concert on May 10 to benefit MCW cancer research

April 22 - On Saturday, May 10, Shattered, a Rolling Stones tribute band, and Substitute, a tribute to The Who, will perform in a concert to benefit cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Tickets are $10, payable at the door the night of the event. Guests must be 21 years of age or older or accompanied by a legal guardian. The concert will take place at Shank Hall in Milwaukee.
