Welcome to the Medical College of Wisconsin's Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine Web site.
Our faculty members offer an array of inpatient and outpatient clinical services for the diagnosis and management of problems that are difficult to diagnose or hard to treat. Our care is distinguished from that of other providers because we practice in a multidisciplinary clinical, teaching and research setting. We provide the only regional source of comprehensive care for patients with complex medical problems such as cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, lung transplant, and others.
Our patients benefit from facilitated and liberal exposure to clinicians and investigators of all disciplines and an educational emphasis from all health care participants. We provide unparalleled access to cutting edge advancements in biomedical research for our patients and all of our faculty level providers are board certified in one or more specialties through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Our areas of expertise include, but not limited to: asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, sarcoidosis and other interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, occupational and environmental respiratory problems, pulmonary embolism, sleep disorders, fungal and mycobacterial lung infections and pulmonary hypertension.
