The Research and Education Advisory Committee
The MCW Research and Education Advisory Committee (PDF), or REAC, provides oversight for the AHW Endowment’s investments in biomedical and population health research, as well as in programs to enhance educational opportunities for the health and public health workforce.
AHW Issues Call for MCW Faculty Nominations: As the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW) prepares to launch its fourth five-year plan, it is seeking MCW faculty for two exciting leadership opportunities aimed at guiding and overseeing AHW investments into biomedical, translational, and population research:
Research and Advisory Committee (REAC): Up to four faculty will be selected to join REAC, which provides oversight for AHW’s investments into biomedical, translational, and population research. Faculty Advisor: AHW seeks a faculty advisor (one position at 20%) within its Research and Education Program to offer expertise in clinical and/or population science research and graduate and medical education, provide peer support to applicants regarding scientific rigor and methodology, and lead leadership discussions on scientific merits of proposals.
