The Department of Anesthesiology's mission is threefold:
Delivery of anesthesia for adults and children at six different institutions sets the standard of care in southeastern Wisconsin. This also creates an educational environment for housestaff and medical students that utilizes a variety of learning activities. Read more
Zeljko Bosnjak, PhD, was named President-Elect of the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research, Academy of Research Mentors in Anesthesiology, during the American Society of Anesthesiologists annual meeting.
MCW's anesthesiology residents won 9 awards on their 26 presentations at the 2012 Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference.
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Anesthesiology is currently ranked 6th for funding by the National Institutes of Health.
