Dr. Tao Wang joined the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2002. Dr Wang's research interest is in statistical genetics. His methodology research includes genetic modeling of quantitative trait loci, haplotype analysis of SNPs, and association analysis of genetic markers using family data. His current collaborative work includes studies on genetic risk factors in the HLA and KIR genomic regions relevant to post-BMT outcomes for leukemia and lymphoma patients, and epigenetic factors in hypertension. He is also serving as a PhD statistician for the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), a statistical consultant for National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), and a biostatistician for Biostatistics Consulting Service (BCS) at MCW.
