Biography

Dr. Noe graduated from Saint Louis University (St. Louis, MO) in 1998 and received his MD degree from the Saint Louis School of Medicine in 2002. He remained there for his internship and residency in pediatrics from 2002-2005 and completed fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology at the Indiana University School of Medicine and James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children (Indianapolis, IN) from 2005-2008.

Dr. Noe joined MCW as assistant professor of Pediatrics (Gastroenterology) in 2008 and was promoted to associate professor in 2015 and professor in 2022. Dr. Noe’s educational administrative appointments have included: Director of Resident and Senior Medical Student Gastroenterology Rotation (2008-present); Associate Director of Medical Student Pediatric Clerkship (2010-2011); Director of Pediatric Sub-Internship (2011-2012); Director of Pediatric Clerkship (2011-present); Director of Preparing for Internship M4 course (2013-2015); Co-chair of MCW clerkship directors (2013-2014); Chair of MCW clerkship directors (2014-2016); Interim Chair of MCW clerkship directors (2018); and Chair, MCW clerkship directors (2018-present).

Among Dr. Noe’s awards are: Outstanding Teacher of Medical Students – Department of Pediatrics; MCW Teaching Pin – Preparing for Internship and Pediatric Clerkship; Department of Family and Community Medicine Education Project: Block B Thread Curriculum; and Best Doctors in America. He is a member of the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics; MCW Society of Teaching Scholars; North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition; and American Gastroenterological Association.
