Biography

Dr. Janaki Shah has been a faculty member in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2012. She came to the Medical College in 2007 for her medical residency after graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- School of Osteopathic Medicine. Both her Internal Medicine Residency and fellowship in Infectious Diseases were completed at the Medical College and she was excited to stay on as faculty.

Janaki’s practices primary care for HIV infected individuals at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. There, she enjoys caring for a diverse a patient population and providing HIV prevention services. Her other interests include quality improvement in HIV primary care.

She is a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine and is credentialed by this organization as an HIV Specialist.
