Interests and Background
Brooks began his professional career working at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He had the opportunity to care for children of all ages up to 18 years old in many different surgical procedures. In 2012, the state of Wisconsin passed legislation to license anesthesiologist assistants and the Children's Wisconsin began to hire additional CAA's. This was a chance for him to return to his hometown and continue working as a pediatric CAA. Brooks has been providing anesthesia care at Children's Wisconsin since 2012.
