Biography
Dr. Kwarteng is committed to developing interventions that work towards addressing social factors that contribute to racial health disparities. As a member of the MCW Cancer Center Community Advisory Board’s Prevention and Healthy Communities (PHC) workgroup, she plans to identify potential community partners to develop community-engaged interventions that address risk factors relating to disparities in cancer survival.
She has published several articles on neighborhood characteristics and health outcomes in journals such as the Journal of Public Health and the American Journal of Health Promotion.
