Timothy Stoddard, MD
Resident, PGY 2
Medical School: University of Florida
Why did I choose MCW? Upon arrival on my interview day at MCW, I was immediately struck by the supportive and collaborative nature of everyone that I met-the residents, faculty and staff. Being a part of a residency program for 6 years requires a cohesive group of individuals that will both celebrate your achievements and support you in more difficult times. In other words, a family. A group of individuals that equally enjoys hearing about my patients as they do about what I did last weekend. To have that community in a training program that can prepare me for any number of career paths in plastic surgery is truly the complete package.
What do I like to do outside of medicine? I am a huge sports fan-namely college football, college basketball, and golf. I've grown up loving Notre Dame football (and Florida football as of late) as well as Gonzaga Basketball, and have spent a large majority of my life on the golf course. I also enjoy following Formula One racing, as well as trying new food and drink recipes with my fiancée.
