Biography

Dr. Rusy is on staff in the Jane B. Petit Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care Clinic at Children’s Wisconsin-Milwaukee Hospital. She is certified in medical acupuncture. Dr. Rusy is a fellow of acupuncture at the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture at UCLA. She is active in acute pain management at Children’s Wisconsin, managing epidurals and PCA for postoperative pain, as well as consulting on complex chronic pain issues.

Research Interests

Her research focuses on clinical pain management and alternative therapies for pain management including: massage, acupuncture and cognitive behavioral pain management. Dr. Rusy has published multiple articles in acupuncture and acute pain management, as well as alternative therapies for acute pain management.
