Biography

Jennifer began her career at the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Neurosurgery in 2006. Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995. She worked for the next 10 years as an RN on the Neurosurgery team in the operating room at Froedtert Hospital. Jennifer then went on to earn her Master’s of Science in nursing from Marquette University in 2006, specializing in acute care.

Jennifer initially worked with spine patients for her first 7 years, including assisting in the OR, as well as pre and postoperative management. She transitioned to the care of the cranial patient in 2013, and now her practice focuses on the perioperative management of patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, and brain trauma. She enjoys developing close relationships with her patients that offers her the ability to help them through a challenging time in their lives.

Jennifer served as part-time faculty at Marquette University from 2007-2014, teaching a physical assessment lab and a suture lab to NP students. She serves as a clinical preceptor to NP students for their neurosurgery rotations. She was nominated by her colleagues in 2014 and 2015 for the Medical College of Wisconsin Excellence in Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Award.

Jennifer sees patients in the Neurosciences clinic at Froedtert Hospital, located in the West clinics.
