Research Interests
My research focuses on epigenomic-based pharmacology and therapeutics in pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is projected to become the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC,) which accounts for most of the pancreatic cancer cases, is one of the most chemoresistant cancers and has not had sufficient therapeutics targeting molecular pathways linked to its development. I aim to explore standalone and/or combined inhibition of different genetic & epigenetic marks and signaling pathways as a potential source for new clinical trials and general PDAC treatment improvement.
