Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Olivia Glaeser and I’m from Kansas City, Missouri. I just graduated from the University of Missouri in 2022 with a BHS in Health Sciences, minors in Psychology and Biology, and certificates in Computational Neuroscience and Multicultural Studies. During my undergraduate career, I worked as a phlebotomist, behavior technician, and served in several leadership positions on campus. I also volunteered at Rainbow House Emergency Shelter and Child Advocacy Center––an organization that temporarily houses displaced children during a crisis and provides therapy to kids that have endured abuse. I am very grateful that I received the opportunity to serve in these roles as they were a fundamental part of my college experience and largely responsible for leading me to pursue a career in genetic counseling. I could not be more ecstatic to be a part of the MSGC program at MCW! In my free time, I love to read, paint, go thrifting, and spend time with my cat, Handsome!
