My goal as an educator is not only to provide knowledge that transcends the scope of a textbook, but also to foster skills that students will need to be competent future clinicians. Since we can’t always bring the class to the bedside, this is best accomplished by bringing the bedside to the classroom- ultimately, optimizing patient outcomes is the foundation of our practice.
