Biography

I graduated with a BA from Kalamazoo College with majors in chemistry and philosophy. Prior to journeying through medicine, I worked in medical research, marketing and graphic design, and at Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. I attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed my medical degree in 2020. During medical school, I moved to Kigali, Rwanda for one year to complete the Richard and Tina V Carolan Research Fellowship in emergency medicine offered through Brown University. In addition to medicine, I immensely enjoy writing, graphic design, cooking, and hiking.
