Episode 21 of "The 'S' Word: A Podcast about Suicide Prevention" is Live!
The latest episode of the "The 'S' Word," a podcast from the CIC's Division of Suicide Research and Healing, is out now! This month features an interview with Katrina Brees, an artist and suicide prevention advocate. Brees lost her mother, Donna, to suicide in 2018 and has since worked tirelessly to advocate for legislation called "Donna's Law," that allows people who fear they may become suicidal to place themselves on a voluntary, confidential self-registry to prevent the impulsive purchase of a gun.
