Reference Consultation Service
MCW Libraries offers a personal Reference Consultation Service to provide in-depth reference assistance for your research and information needs, including:
- literature searches - refining and focusing your research topic, identifying databases to search, developing a search strategy, and managing your results
- using citation managers - EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero
- training on resources and database, such as PubMed, Ovid MEDLINE, and PsycINFO
- searching for funding
Consultations can be done in person, via WebEx or phone, and they can last between 15 minutes to 1 hour.

If you would like assistance with a literature search, describe your research topic or PICO question in complete sentences, and tell us what sources you have already looked at (databases, Google searching, etc.) if applicable.
