Research Interests

Coming from an exercise physiology background, I have always been an advocate in promoting physical health to attenuate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in which encompasses cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity. It is essential to recognize the interface between endocrinology and immunology involved in the multifaceted manifestation of metabolic syndrome and underlie the potential cellular and molecular mechanisms. Mainly, I am intrigued and impelled to have a better understanding and identify possible molecular pathways associated with cardiovascular pathology.
