Brian Conway is a medical student in the MD/MS dual-degree program at the Medical College of Wisconsin through which he will earn both his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Science (MS) in Clinical and Translational Research. He received his Comprehensive Honors Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience from Marquette University. While at Marquette, he worked in Dr. John Mantsch’s preclinical research lab and completed his undergraduate honors thesis on how stress can promote cocaine relapse. His research interests include using both image-guided surgical techniques and neuromodulation devices to enhance brain tumor resection while preserving the function of eloquent brain areas. Brian aspires to become a physician-scientist passionate about studying the human brain and building close relationships with his future patients.
