Projects: 1. Identifying selective inhibitors of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)-producing bacterial enzymes responsible for the formation of brain abscesses and vasoplegia. 2. Selecting chemical probes through biophysical assays to study the role of the Survival Motor Neuron (SMN) protein in Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). 3. Determining the selectivity of small molecules that bind PBRM1 bromodomains to find therapeutic targets for clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). 4. Producing recombinant proteins in the Structural Genomics Unit (SGU) to study cancer and rare genetic conditions

General Interests
I love spending time with my nephews. I enjoy reading, exploring new places, being around nature and eating corn. I am passionate about addressing social injustices, particularly in health care
