Biography

Interests and Background

Dr. Fritz has a broad science background and will be teaching in a variety of MCW-Central Wisconsin’s local basic sciences courses doing small group work.

Dr. Fritz’s studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison focused on structural myofibrillar proteins and their role in muscle development and pathophysiology. He received additional training in gene therapy as a Muscular Dystrophy Association Fellow, and in clinical pharmacology as an NIH National Research Service Award recipient.

He has published over 20 research articles and holds one patent. His varied experiences have provided him undergraduate and graduate instructional opportunities in a variety of fields ranging from basic science disciplines to leadership development at Bethel University, the University of Wisconsin Colleges, and Vanderbilt University.

Jeff and his spouse, Bonnie, have resided in Central Wisconsin for the past 15 years and remain overjoyed at the opportunities afforded in raising four children.
