Biography
Dr. Swartz is a board certified neurosurgeon with fellowship specialty training in spinal surgery. She completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003, her fellowship at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles in 2004, and was in practice at the University of Kentucky Medical Center before joining MCW in 2015.
She has been involved in spinal cord injury research. She has won multiple teaching awards, and is involved in several national organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgery (AANS), the Congress of Neurological Surgery (CNS), and the North American Spine Society (NASS).
