Biography

Dr. Melka completed his undergraduate education at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and obtained his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.

Research Interests

Dr. Melka’s clinical and research interests include posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, emotion regulation, and substance abuse. He currently coordinates a residential rehabilitation program at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center for combat Veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan focusing on readjustment to civilian life following deployment.
