Dr. Jonathan Rubin Selected to be New Froedtert & MCW Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer

Dr. Jonathan Rubin has accepted the position of associate chief medical informatics officer (aCMIO) for Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network.

Dr Rubin joined MCW in 1992 as a fellow in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) after receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completing a residency in emergency medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He is currently a Professor of Emergency Medicine.

Throughout his tenure Dr. Rubin has held leadership roles in EMS, clinical operations and informatics, including senior medical director of the Froedtert Hospital Emergency Department. He currently serves as Inpatient Platform Medical Informatics Officer and Division Chief for Informatics in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Rubin's position is effective Oct 1, 2023. He is working with Jamie Silkey, PA-C, the outgoing aCMIO, as she transitions to her new role as chief advanced practice officer for Froedtert & MCW.
