Biography
Rhonda Reid is a Milwaukee native and public service professional with more than a decade of experience serving individuals and families through social services, homelessness prevention, behavioral health, and community-based programming. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable populations by strengthening systems of care, fostering community partnerships, and promoting equitable access to services. Rhonda earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership, both from Upper Iowa University. Her academic and professional experiences have provided a strong foundation in public administration, nonprofit leadership, program management, and evidence-based decision-making. In her current role with Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services, Rhonda oversees substance use disorder programs, where she manages provider performance, evaluates program outcomes, monitors quality and compliance measures, and leads continuous quality improvement efforts. She collaborates with community providers and stakeholders to ensure services are effective, accountable, and responsive to the needs of Milwaukee County residents.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Rhonda is dedicated to serving her community. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Walker's Point Youth & Family Center, where she supports initiatives that empower youth and strengthen families. She is also a devoted mother and believes in giving back through service both professionally and personally. An animal lover at heart, Rhonda also fosters cats, providing temporary homes and compassionate care while they await permanent families. Rhonda is passionate about using data to improve public health outcomes, strengthen community-based programs, and inform policy and program development. She believes lasting change is achieved through collaboration, compassion, and a commitment to helping individuals and communities thrive.
