Dr. Pilarski is dedicated to understanding and improving resident well-being at MCW and throughout the Kern National Transformation Network. She serves as the MCW Affiliated Hospital’s Patient Safety and Quality Officer, is co-developing a Second Victim Peer Support Program for providers, and is co-author of the book Resident Well-Being: A Guide for Residency Programs. She founded and co-chairs the Emergency Medicine Resident Wellness Committee, which has been in existence since 2011.
