Dr. Ferguson is most passionate about improving wellness and well-being for students. In partnership with the MCW Library, she is working on improving access to mental health services for medical students, trainees and faculty through a campus-wide campaign to destigmatize the act of seeking mental health help. She has also designed a Student Wellness Curriculum pilot and is partnering with other NTN schools in piloting the UW-Madison Center for Health Minds/Healthy Minds Innovations app and wellness program for medical students. She also assists with many student-led initiatives such as the MCW Common Read and the MCW MedMoth.
