The Kern Institute Medical Education Transformation Collaboratories
In November 2020, the Kern Institute launched our inaugural request for proposals for Collaboratories to transform medical education focused on character and caring. We received 22 letters of intent and 15 full proposals. After a rigorous merit review process, we selected seven groups. These Collaboratories represent a diverse array of 22 medical and nursing schools across all regions of the country. Over 45 individuals, representing a diverse array of disciplines and experience are involved. The funded projects represent a wide array of stakeholder groups, topic areas and methodological approaches.
