We are Transitioning to OpenAthens
September 7, 2021: MCW Libraries in the process of transitioning from the library proxy server to OpenAthens for connecting to library resources from off-campus. The proxied links on the library webpages and LibGuides will switch to Athenized links in the next few weeks. You can use the same login information for OpenAthens links that you use for the library proxy server, which is the same credentials that are used for MCW email, InfoScope and OneDrive.
If you find OpenAthens links on your favorite journal or database websites, you can try logging in with your MCW account using the following steps
- Find the OpenAthens login link.
- Find your institution: Medical College of Wisconsin.
- Sign in with your MCW credentials.
More information can be found on our OpenAthens LibGuide. Help us with the transition by sending us an email if you encounter any problems. Links on the library webpages will be updated over the next few weeks.
