Biography

Paul Stellmacher, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, specializing in hospice and palliative medicine as well as hospitalist medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2012. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center (Kansas City, KS), followed by a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Stanford University (Stanford, CA). He is board certified in internal medicine, and board-eligible in hospice and palliative medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians as well as the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is interested in end-of-life education for medical trainees, as well as primary palliative care in the care of hospitalized adults.
