Biography

Prabhas Mittal, MD, MSc, is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of hematology and oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York Health Science Center, in Brooklyn, NY in 1998, his fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington, DC in 2001, and finally his fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX in 2002. Before joining the Division, Dr. Mittal had staff physician roles at various institutions such as Wenatchee Valley Medical Center, Wenatchee, WA, at Aurora Metro Region Hospitals, Milwaukee, WI, and at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital Cancer Care Center, Menomonee Falls, WI. Currently, Dr. Mittal primarily sees cancer patients at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. He also cares for gastrointestinal cancer patients at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center.
