Biography

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Bacteriology. I then stayed there for medical school before moving to Oregon Health Sciences University for Residency. I continued on at OHSU/Portland VA to do a General Internal Medicine fellowship where I also completed my MPH. I am currently a primary care physician at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. I have been an associate program director in the internal medicine residency for 15 years.

Research Interests

I have a particular interest in Women’s Health and the health of the Native American population. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center in Milwaukee for the past 15 years.
