Biography

Dr. Wael Saber joined the faculty of Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in 2009 as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. He is also an Assistant Scientific Director in the (Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR)) at the Medical College of Wisconsin, an internationally recognized research organization that focuses on outcomes related to Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HCT).

Dr. Saber attended medical school at Ain Shams University in Egypt, and completed his internship and residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed an NIH T-32 research fellowship in Hematology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He holds a master’s degree in population health sciences from the University of Wisconsin.

Research Interests

Dr. Saber is an attending physician in the MCW adult HCT unit, with clinical interests in hematologic malignancies. His research interests are focused on outcomes related to HCT.
