Research Interests

My current interests revolve around clinical surgery and medical education. I have been involved in curriculum development at both the medical school level and within training programs for surgery over the past decade. My clinical interest is in General Surgery with a focus on Breast Diseases. My research focus is on innovations in medical education. Current projects include innovative educational projects for medical students, improvements in medical student clerkship structure, and development of innovative curriculum models for general surgery residents.
