Research Interests

Laura Glass Umfleet, PsyD, ABPP, is an associate professor of neurology (neuropsychology). She specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation of adults with neurologic/neurobehavioral disorders, memory disorders, head trauma, and ADHD. Her background includes research focusing on the investigation of various psychometric properties of the Wechsler intellectual scales, performance on selected neuropsychological measures in patient populations (e.g., memory disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis), and clinical or psychometric issues relating to symptom validity testing. Other research interests include investigating normal vs. abnormal aging as well as developing research that demonstrates the value of neuropsychology. Her work has been presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed professional journals.
