Biography
Anne Matthews joined the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1993 and has spent her entire career working in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Children’s Wisconsin. She completed her Physician Assistant degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1989.
She seeks to provide personal, comprehensive and compassionate care to pediatric neurosurgery patients and their families. With over twenty years of experience in pediatric neurosurgery at Children's, she desires to use her knowledge and experience to make complex neurosurgical diagnoses understandable, staying patient focused and taking the time to ensure that all questions and concerns have been addressed.
By being involved in every aspect of patient care from the initial referral consultation, to intra-operative assisting and post-operative hospital management, she can meet the needs of her patients and their families and provide care that is highly skilled, compassionate and thorough.
She has a special interest in patient outcomes and is constantly seeking to find ways to improve patient experience and outcomes within her department.
