Biography

Alisha Sabih joined the Global Health Office in June 2025 for a summer observership focused on professional development in the global health field. She recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Global Health. Alisha is passionate about healthcare administration, especially when it comes to improving accessibility and strengthening health systems both here in the United States and globally. She’s particularly interested in leadership and is committed to using it to expand access to quality care and improve health on a global scale. At UW Madison, Alisha served as President of the Pakistani Students Association, after previously taking on the roles of Vice President and Marketing Chair. In these positions she was able to foster her leadership skills and worked to put together cultural events, and to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to creating a future where healthcare is accessible to communities everywhere.
