Biography

Dr. Grindel joined the Medical College of Wisconsin after being in private practice as an orthopaedic upper extremity surgeon in Kenosha, WI, and refocusing his career on academic pursuits.

After medical school and orthopaedic training at the University of Illinois, Chicago, Dr. Grindel underwent a year of fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Loma Linda University in California.

Research Interests

His practice emphasis is on the upper extremity including any problems pertaining to the shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand. His background in industrial problems affecting the upper extremity is extensive. Dr. Grindel takes great strides to treat every patient with the utmost respect and care for their particular medical issue, stating "I try to treat each patient as an individual in an honest and straightforward way as I would expect myself to be treated by any other health care professional."
