Biography
Dr. David W. Meister is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. He completed his fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and his orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Meister holds an MD from Stanford University, where he also participated in the prestigious Biodesign Innovation Program, and earned both BS and MS degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
With a strong background in biomechanics, microsurgery, and medical innovation, Dr. Meister has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and holds multiple U.S. patents. His research has been recognized with awards from the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Medical College of Wisconsin. He currently practices at Hand to Shoulder Specialists of Wisconsin, combining clinical expertise with a passion for advancing orthopaedic care.
