Biography

Dr. Spearman is a physician-scientist and an associate professor of pediatrics at the Medical College Wisconsin. He holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at Medical College of Wisconsin. His research focuses on the pulmonary vascular complications of single ventricle congenital heart disease – specifically arteriovenous malformations and aortopulmonary collaterals. His research utilizes basic and translational approaches to study the mechanisms of vascular remodeling.
