Biography

Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with an emphasis in cell/physiology. I am now a research tech in Chun's lab working with iPSCs to construct an organoid that can be used as a model for heart complexity. In addition, we are combining this research with CRISPR screening to identify drug effects on the cardiomyocytes.

Research Interests

I am interested in the construction of cardiac organoids from iPSCs to be used as a model system for heart models and the integration of CRISPR screening on the organoid level for drug effects.
