Research Interests

Dr. Quinn’s research focuses on understanding and addressing how intersectional discrimination and stigma influence health outcomes for Black sexual and gender minorities. She has a particular interest in research related to resilience, disparities in HIV treatment outcomes, HIV prevention and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), mental health, and community and police violence. Dr. Quinn has expertise in community engagement, qualitative, and mixed-methods research.
