Alejandro Torres, MD

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Alex grew up experiencing firsthand the impact of US healthcare inequity on our most vulnerable communities. As a Med/Psych resident, he advocates for access to integrated care for the ones who need it most, like his patients at the Sixteenth Street Community Clinic on the Southside. Outside of medicine, he enjoys the outdoors and all music related things, such as live concerts and learning new instruments (most recently the banjo)! Other than bridging the healthcare gap, Alex's hope and dream is to one day run a hobby farm somewhere in the Wisconsin wilderness.
