Research Interests

Dr. Walsh is a Developmental Psychologist whose primary research interests are HIV prevention, sexual health promotion, and the application of advanced statistical methods to health behavior data. Her current project uses integrative data analysis to combine data from four randomized controlled trials of HIV prevention interventions independently conducted at STI clinics to better understand factors promoting intervention success. Dr. Walsh’s other research interests include sexual health and risk among adolescents and emerging adults and the impact of socioeconomic disadvantage and neighborhood factors on diverse health behaviors.
